How can I add stock transactions manually in MProfit?

In this tutorial, we will explain how you can add a stock transaction manually in MProfit.

While MProfit allows for automatic recording of most transactions by importing from transaction files, it also provides an option for manual entry of transactions.

This feature comes in handy when you need to manually add a buy or sell transaction for your equity data.

To add stock transactions manually in MProfit, you need to follow the steps below:


Step 1: Login to your MProfit account and click the (+) sign.

Step 2: Select Add Transaction option from the drop-down list.

Step 3: In the next window, select the Asset Class as Stocks



Step 4: Click Select.



Step 5: Enter the Date of the transaction and the Broker name.

Step 6: If you don't find the desired broker name in the drop down menu, then click the (+) sign.

Step 7: Type the broker name and click Save



Step 8: Next, click Add Row

Step 9: Enter the name of the Asset and select the appropriate asset from the drop-down list provided.

Step 10: Now, enter the Purchase Quantity and Purchase Price

Step 11: Enter the Brokerage and click the Purchase Amount

Step 12: Ensure to save your entries by clicking on Save
