How can I auto-sync my Mutual Fund investments to MProfit?

Modified on Fri, 27 Feb at 2:39 PM

Importing your mutual fund data to MProfit is extremely easy and can be done in a few clicks!

We provide an API integration that can auto-sync all your mutual funds PAN-wise to MProfit.

Here's how:

Step 1: Login to your MProfit account and navigate to API.

Step 2: Select MF CAS from the drop-down list.

Step 3: In the following window, mention the PAN number.

Verification is OTP-based, and you have two options: your registered mobile number or your registered email. Please ensure that you use the correct mobile number or email that is registered for your MF investments.

Step 4: Enter your Email ID or Phone Number.

Step 5: You now have the option to customize the Period from the drop-down list. Typically use All to Date for the first-time sync and in subsequent syncs, you will see a Since Last Update option.

Step 6: Enter a Nickname (preferably the PAN card holder's name for ease of selection going forward). Then Click Continue to start the OTP verification process.

Step 7: You will be redirected to the MF central website. You'll receive an OTP on your registered number.

Step 8: Enter the OTP and Click Authenticate with OTP.

Step 9: On the next screen, you can leave the default option selected for type of data - Regular + Direct Investments.

Step 10: Choose what extent of data to be imported. Select Transactions.

Please note it is very important to select Transactions for MProfit to be able to accurately track your MF data as Summary of Holdings is only a snapshot and cannot be used for capital gains or performance reporting.

Step 11: Important: Click the Select All AMCs button to ensure that data for all AMCs is imported into MProfit.

Step 12: Click on Generate QR Code.

Step 13: To use the QR code, either click Copy QR Code (recommended) or Download QR Code.

Step 14: Click Continue.

Step 15: You will be redirected back to the MProfit screen, and you can paste the copied QR code by clicking the standard paste shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd + V). If you had downloaded the QR code instead of copying it, simply drop/upload it into the field.

Step 16: Verify that the QR code appears after you have pasted/uploaded it. Then click Sync Now to begin the sync.

Step 17: Once syncing is complete, you will have to follow the standard process of portfolio mapping and/or asset mapping (typically only first time for a new PAN). Once this process is completed, click View Imported Data to see your imported transactions.

Your data is successfully imported in MProfit. Click Back to Portfolio to view it in your respective Portfolio.
