This guide explores the second part of the analytics tutorial, focusing on the performance section and other features.
Performance Section
Step 1: Click on the Performance section.
On the left side, it displays the XIRR of the entire portfolio, the first transaction date, current valuation, total investment, total withdrawals, total gain, realized P&L, and unrealized P&L.
Step 2: Notice the feature on the right side that compares your XIRR with the CAGR of various benchmark indices.
Step 3: Customize these indices by selecting the Change Indices option at the top.
Step 4: Unselect the index you do not want and select the one you do want.
Ensure you have only five at a time.
Step 5: Click on Done.
Step 6: Customize the period or time range for your calculation of XIRR by clicking on All to Date at the top.
Select the desired time period.
For example, you can select a financial year, a calendar year, or a month.
Step 6: You can also choose Trailing or Custom range.
Step 7: Notice the feature that compares your XIRR with the TRI Nifty 50 XIRR.
This feature replicates the cash inflows and outflows in your portfolio into a TRI Nifty 50 XIRR.
Below this, we have a tabular view of the XIRR for all the asset classes in your portfolio.
Advanced Performance Insight
Step 8: Explore the advanced performance insight. Here, get your XIRR for your stocks and mutual funds with any one of the indices.
Change the index by the down arrow.
You can change the desired index by selecting it.
Step 9: Click on Done after selection.
Step 10: The above feature can be used for Historical or FY-wise as well.
Performance by Portfolio
Step 11: Open Family Group.
Navigate to Performance.
Here, look for the option Performance by Portfolio.
Step 12: Click on View Table.
Here, you can see the XIRR for all portfolios in the family.
PMS Portfolio
Step 13: Go to performance in a PMS portfolio.
Here, the XIRR also considers the cash inflows and outflows added manually.
Navigate to Performance.
Step 14: View the cash ins and outs, current investment value, and cash on hand.
Below that, find the absolute gain, income payout, and total fees.
Step 15: Click on View Cash Flows at the top to see the cash ins and outs in the portfolio.
Step 16: Customize the period to All to Date and set the time period as mentioned earlier.
Step 17: Get an overview of the cash flow snapshot showing the cash in, closing balance, cash out, and closing investment value.
Step 18: Compare your XIRR to the Index CAGR.
Equity Exposure
Step 19: Notice the equity exposure feature on the left side. It shows that a specific script is present across stocks, mutual funds, and ETF asset classes.
Step 20: Click on the Classic View at the top to return to the actual MProfit classic window.
Help Center
Step 21: Click on the icon in the top right corner to go to the help centre.
Here, type your query and go through the articles prepared by MProfit.
Step 22: Use the Contact Support option to raise a ticket.
Mention the queries and upload a file or a picture if needed.
App Tour
Step 23: Click on App Tour.
Then Start Tour. This tool provides detailed descriptions of each module.
