Learn how to navigate the analytics page, switch between families and portfolios, and understand the breakdown of your holdings. Here's how:
Accessing the Analytics Page
Step 1: Click on the Analytics option at the top of the page. This action redirects to a new page.
Navigating the Analytics Page
Step 1: On the left side, click on the dropdown to switch between families and portfolios.
Step 2: To change the family, select the appropriate option and make the change.
Step 3: To alter the portfolio, select the portfolio in the same file.
Understanding the Analytics Page
The analytics page is divided into three sections:
Today, Holdings, and Performance.
This tutorial covers the Today and Holdings sections.
Today's Section
Step 1: In the Today's section, observe today's gain, unrealized gain, and current value.
Below this, find Today's Performance for stocks and ETFs compared with various benchmark indices.
Step 2: To change the indices, click on the icon and deselect the current index.
Step 3: Select the desired index.
Remember, only five indices can be selected at a time.
Step 4: Click on Done.
This allows for a daily comparison of the stocks and ETFs in your portfolio against various benchmark indices.
On the right side, a pie chart displays the Asset Allocation in your portfolio.
Below this, find the Today's Mover section, which shows your portfolio's Top Gainers and Losers.
Step 4: On the right side, add scripts to the watchlist to monitor them, regardless of whether you hold them or not.
Below this, a table displays the asset classes in your portfolio, showing today's gain, unrealized gain, and current value.
At the bottom of the page, a section for corporate actions shows recent or upcoming actions for all scripts held.
Holdings Section
Step 1: In the Holdings section, a pie chart displays all holdings based on Current Value or Amount Invested.
On the right side, find the amount invested, current value, unrealized gain, and unrealized gain percentage.
Below this, a table shows the amount invested, realized gain, current value, and holdings for all asset classes.
Two viewing options are available:

Step 2: In the Asset Class view, dive deeper into the data.
For example, clicking on Stocks and ETFs shows the portfolio's sector-wise allocation based on current value or amount invested.
Similarly, in Market Cap, find aggregation in small-cap, mid-cap, and large-cap.
To understand which scripts are held in large cap or in the financial services sector, simply select the relevant option.
