How to Auto-apply Corporate Actions for Stocks in MProfit?

MProfit allows you to conveniently manage your stock portfolios and automatically apply corporate actions such as Bonus, Split, Merger, Demerger, and Dividend entries. 

With MProfit, you can easily keep track of historical corporate action details dating back to April 1, 2016. 


In this post, we will walk you through the steps to auto-apply corporate actions for any Family/Portfolio in MProfit.

Steps to Auto-Apply Corporate Actions in MProfit :


For Investors and Advisor Client (Past Corporate Actions)

1. Open MProfit and navigate to the desired portfolio.


2. Click on the Actions tab located at the top right of the screen.


3. From the dropdown menu, select Auto Corporate Actions.



If you are a new MProfit user:

1. Leave the default selections as they are.

2. Simply click on the Apply button.


By following these steps, MProfit will automatically add corporate actions for all the stocks in your portfolio from April 1, 2016 onwards.

Important Note

  • For corporate actions that occurred prior to April 1, 2016, you will need to manually record them in MProfit.

  • Before applying Auto Corporate Actions, ensure that all your stock transactions (such as buy, sell, buyback, IPO, and off-market transactions) are accurately added to MProfit.


For Advisor Client (Future Corporate Actions)

1. Navigate to Tools.


2. From the dropdown, choose Corporate Actions.


3. Now, Approve your holdings date-wise.


4. Finally, click on Confirm after all the necessary inputs.


By using the Auto Corporate Actions feature in MProfit, you can efficiently manage and track corporate actions for your stock holdings, making portfolio management a breeze.
