How can I manually update corporate actions in bulk in MProfit?

In this tutorial, we will explain how you can update corporate actions (manually) in bulk with MProfit


This feature is particularly helpful if you have the same security in multiple portfolios and want to apply the same corporate action across all of them.

With MProfit, you can make these changes in bulk, saving you time and ensuring consistency across all your portfolios.


Follow the steps below:


Step 1: Login to your MProfit account and navigate to the Tools tab.

Step 2: Select Corporate Actions from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Click Add Manually.

Step 4: Ensure the Asset Class is set to Stocks


From the drop-down menu, select the relevant corporate action and click on Select.

Step 5: Enter the Date and Asset Name


Select the asset name from the drop-down list.

Step 6: Click Existing Quantity and then Bonus Quantity.

Step 7: This process will result in twice the quantity of what you currently have. 


Click Confirm to proceed.

Step 8: Once completed, the portfolio's name and the applied effect will be visible. 


Click Add Selected Records.

Step 9: Once the process is complete, click cancel (X).

Step 10: You are now done. Click Back to Portfolio.
