Applying Auto Corporate Actions to your MProfit Portfolio

Modified on Thu, 19 Jun at 1:48 PM

This article will guide you through the process of applying auto corporate actions to your portfolio in MProfit. By the end, you'll know how to automate the mathematical effects of corporate actions like dividends, mergers, demergers, bonuses, and splits.

Step 1: Start by clicking on the Actions button.

Step 2: Next, select Auto Corporate Actions.

Note: We've supported this feature since April 1, 2016. You'll also see a note stating that the TDS on dividends is auto-calculated.

Step 3: To exit this window, click on Cancel.

Step 4: Right-click on your portfolio.

Step 5: Choose Edit Portfolio from the dropdown menu.

Step 6: Navigate to Additional Options.

The minimum threshold is 10% on 5,000. If you wish to change the percentage or the threshold, enter the desired amount.

Step 7: Manually select this checkbox and ensure it is checked.

Step 8: Click on Save to apply your changes.

Step 9: Return to Actions.

Step 10: Select Auto Corporate Actions again.

Ensure your current portfolio is selected from the start date, then click on Apply.

Step 11: In the confirmation window, click on Yes.

Now, all the corporate actions are automatically added to your portfolio. You're free to explore other windows from the bottom of the page.

Step 12: Click on Continue.

Congratulations! You've successfully applied auto corporate actions to your portfolio.
