In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use the PMS Line Item feature in MProfit to categorize your PMS portfolio separately in the Family Group view. This feature also allows you to view PMS at the cash flow level.

Step 1: Start by clicking on the Family Group.

Step 2: Next, click on Preferences.

Step 3: For PMS within groups, select the Line Item option.

Step 4: Click on Apply.

After applying, you'll notice a separate section for PMS in the Family Group. You'll see a similar change in the Report section.

Step 5: To generate a family group report, click on Reports.

Step 6: Navigate to Performance.

Step 7: For Group Portfolio Summary, click on All Assets.

Step 8: Click on Generate Report.

In the report, you'll see that PMS is categorized separately.

Step 9: Click on Cancel.

Step 10: Navigate to the Analytics page.

Remember, enabling the PMS line item feature in Classic view doesn't mean it'll be enabled in the MProfit analytics view. You'll need to enable it again.

Step 11: Go to Portfolio.

Step 12: Click on Preferences.

Step 13: For show PMS as a line item in groups, toggle this button on.

Step 14: Click on Done.

Step 15: Navigate back to the Dashboard.

Step 16: Go to the Performance section.

Step 17: In the Performance section, click on View Table under Performance by Asset class.

Here, you'll see the performance of various Asset classes and PMS is treated separately.

Step 18: In the Holdings page, go to Equity for the Portfolio asset allocation.

You'll see PMS listed separately in the left navigation for Asset class.

Step 19: Select PMS and go to Performance.

In the Performance by Asset class table, click on View Table.

Here, you'll see the performance of various PMS schemes in your family group.
