Setting Historical Valuations for Traded Bonds in MProfit

In this article, you'll learn how to set historical valuations for your traded bonds in MProfit. This feature allows you to track the performance of your bonds over any financial year.


Step 1: Begin by right-clicking on the asset. 





Step 2: Navigate to Set Historical Prices





Step 3: Click on the Select Date option.

 




Step 4: For this demonstration, we'll select the year end for the last financial year. 





Step 5: Enter the price and hit Save





Step 6: After saving, you'll see the changes in the Portfolio Summary report in the MProfit Classic view. To access this, go to Reports





Step 7: In the Performance section, 





you'll find the Portfolio Summary report. Click on All Assets 





and select a date. Use the dropdown 





to choose the relevant financial year 





and click Generate Report





You'll now see the set price as of 31st March 2025, the year end date for the last financial year.

 




Step 8: Cancel this 





and navigate to the Analytics page. 





Step 9: In the Analytics page, go to the performance section. 





Select a period by clicking on the All to Date option. 





Choose Financial Year 





and select the Last Financial Year. 





Click Done





Step 10: You'll be prompted to select the asset classes. Find and select Traded Bonds from the list 





and click Done





Step 11: At the bottom of the page, you'll find a table showing performance by asset class. Click on the View Table option 





to see the performance for traded bonds. Click on Traded Bonds for more details. 





Step 12: Here, you'll find the Performance by Asset. Click on View Table





This table displays the performance for all assets. You can now view the historical performance, opening valuation, and closing valuation for your traded bond assets. That concludes this tutorial. Thank you!
