In this tutorial, we will explain how to import MProfit final JV files into Tally.
In order to import MProfit final JV files into Tally, ensure that you are using Tally Prime version 4.0 or higher.
The import feature in Tally is only available in Tally Prime version 4.0 or higher.
Once the Tally files are ready after processing using MProfit’s Tally Utility, import them into Tally in the specified order:
1. Tally Groups.xlsx
2. Tally Ledgers.xlsx
3. Tally Transactions.xlsx
It is crucial to remember that the order of import is very important to prevent any errors during the import process.
Step 1: Importing Tally Groups.xlsx file
Click Import > Masters
Select all the relevant categories for the Groups import based on the image below.
The files are stored in your Final Exports folder, which you can access from MProfit's Tally Utility.
Always remember to back up your Tally data before each import.

Step 2: Importing Tally Ledgers.xlsx file
Click Import > Masters
Select all the options for the Ledgers import as shown in the image below.
The files are stored in your Final Exports folder, which you can access through MProfit’s Tally Utility.

Step 3: Importing Tally Transactions.xlsx file
Click Import > Transactions
Select the options for the Tally Transactions import as shown in the image below.
