Adding a Gift entry for a Stock in MProfit

Below is the process for adding a Gift entry for Stocks:

1) Right click on stock name. Next, select Advanced and click on 'Transfer Asset to another portfolio'.

2. Next, select the Portfolio Name to whom you have gifted the share. If you have gifted shares to relatives which are not part of MProfit portfolio, you can select the option 'Other/Gift' option in To Portfolio dropdown, enter the quantity you want to gift and click on Save. 

You are now done. MProfit will compute accurate capital gains for the gifted stock based on the original purchase price and date.
