How to add off-market transaction / IPO / installment payment in MProfit?

Whether you're purchasing shares through an IPO, making installment payments or off-market transactions, MProfit provides a user-friendly interface to manage your transactions effectively. 


This post will walk you through the process of adding an off-market transaction, IPO or installment payment in MProfit.


Steps to add an off-market transaction, IPO or installment payment in MProfit:

1. Access the MProfit portfolio summary screen and locate the asset bar. Right-click on Stocks in the asset bar.


2. A drop-down menu will appear. From the options presented, select Add Off-market Transaction (IPO, Installment Payment, Op. Bal) to add your IPO transaction or Off-market transaction. 


3. Next, you need to specify the transaction type as IPO/Right Issue and provide the necessary details. 


For example, if you want to add a LIC IPO:


For the given scenario of purchasing 200 shares at a total amount of Rs. 1,70,000, specify the transaction type as IPO / Rights Issue and enter the relevant information.


If you have any future installment payments related to the transaction, you can utilize the same form.
Simply select the transaction type as Installment Payment and provide the corresponding date and amount.


By following these steps, you will be able to effectively add an off-market transaction, IPO or installment payment in MProfit.
