Importing Traded Bond transactions with contract notes or other files

Modified on Wed, 16 Sep 2020 at 10:33 PM

You can import digital contract notes or other transactions files containing Traded Bond transactions.

In such cases, MProfit will auto-map the traded bond assets if ISIN details or NSE/BSE codes are provided in the file.

But if ISIN details or BSE/NSE codes are not available in your files, you will have to do a one-time manual mapping so that MProfit can map asset names in its database with those your files. Please follow the steps below in such cases:

  1. First import your file to MProfit (step-wise import guide). During the portfolio mapping stage, you will see an Asset Mapping window.

  2. For any asset that appears in the Asset Mapping window, click on Map.

  3. Next, in the dropdown for Asset, you can search for any bond by bond name or its respective ISIN number.

Make sure Traded Bonds is selected in the Asset Class field.

    Then click Save.

  4. Once you have mapped all your unmapped assets, click Continue and complete the import.

Your Traded Bond transactions will now be imported, including the assets that you have manually mapped during the import process.
