1. Login to MProfit and click Import on the top-right
Login to MProfit at https://cloud.mprofit.in on a web browser and click the Import button at the top-right of the screen.

For example, if you want to import a Kotak Securities contract note, search for "Kotak Securities".
You can search either by Template or by Broker.

Once you find the template you are looking for, click into it. This opens the Template Information window.
Review the template information and then click the Add to My Templates button.
4. Under My Templates, select your template
Under the My Templates section, select the template you just added.
The selected template will now be assigned as your current template.
5. Upload your file in the file drop zone
Next, upload your file in the file drop zone and click the Import button.

6. Set portfolio mappings (ONE TIME STEP)
This is a ONE TIME STEP that allows you to map data from your file to the required portfolio in MProfit.
Map the investors' names in your file to corresponding portfolios in MProfit.
Once complete, MProfit will retain your portfolio mappings for future imports with this template.

7. Set broker and asset mappings (ONE TIME STEP, ONLY IF PROMPTED)
Broker mapping (For Stocks only):
If this is the first time you are importing a Stock transaction file, you can create a broker in MProfit for this file.

Asset mapping (For unmapped assets only):
In the event that your file does not contain mapping codes (BSE or NSE Code / ISIN), you can manually map assets in MProfit (as shown in the screenshot below).
MProfit will retain your asset mappings for future imports with this template.
8. Preview and complete Import
After the mappings are complete, you can preview your transactions for verification. Once you have verified your imported transactions, click Import Selected Records.
9. View your updated portfolios
Your data is now imported. Click Back to Portfolio to view your updated MProfit portfolios.
