How do I enter a National Savings Certificate (NSC)

You can create the NSC (National Savings Certificate) entry under Deposits/Loans or Miscellaneous Category.

Select the Transaction type as ‘Investment’
When you are creating the NSC for the first time, Click New button. Create the name for this NSC, such as ‘National Savings Certificate’.

Once, the NSC name is created, fill out all the information related to this investment instrument as follows:
Interest is 8%
Interest Type: Cumulative
Interest Pay-out: Half Yearly
Maturity Date: Six Years from the date of investment
