How do I enter NABARD’s Bhavishya Nirman Bonds?

This will fall under the Bond category. Double click the Bond icon on left hand side of your portfolio.

You will notice the new blank form for the bond entry. Click the ‘New’ button next to the Title/Description to create this asset in your asset list.

You will again see the new blank form. Type the name of this asset as ‘Nabard Bhavishya Nirman Bonds – 2010’ and click ‘Ok’

Now enter the other details.
Interest Rate: 7.73
Interest Type: Cumulative
Interest Payment: Yearly
Maturity Date: date should be 10 years from the date of investment.

Now enter the transaction details:
Date of Investment:
Quantity of Bonds:
Rate: 9500
Amount will be auto-calculated.
And save the transaction.

You will be now see this asset in your summary screen and you will notice the maturity value as Rs.20,007.43, when you move the mouse over the name of this asset.
You will see the daily accrued interest in daily gain and total accrued interest in overall gain. When you get the maturity amount back after 10 years, you can enter this transaction as sell type and provide the rate of the bond as Rs. 20,000.
